ISO 27001:2022 update package

Recently, ISO has released ISO 27001:2022 (click here to see what’s new ↗️).

To accommodate existing Instant 27001 for Confluence clients who wish to upgrade their ISMS, we have released this update package.

Recent updates such as the release of the European (EN) version (which is sometimes referred to as ISO 27001:2023) have been taken into account. Amendment 1:2024 ↗️, has also been processed.

Contents of the update package

The update package is delivered as a Confluence space backup, that consists of:

The new Annex A structure containing all 93 controls
A table that maps the 114 controls from 2013 to the new controls
Updates for the changed high level requirements
All new and updated policies and procedures (for reference)
A new Statement of Applicability
A new Monitoring plan
A new Internal audit program
A new Internal audit report template
A Gap analysis + action plan template (as required for the transition audit)
Instructions how to merge the contents and update your existing ISMS

How does it work?

Upon delivery, you import the update package; this process does not overwrite anything
Instead, the space will sit next to your current ISMS
Using the mapping table, you can compare the old and the new controls side by side and re-apply any changes you have made to your existing controls (both structure and content) at your own leisure
When you’re done, the new controls can be moved into your ISMS space (next to your current ones)
(Alternatively, you could also use the provided mapping table and citations to update your existing controls)
Any add-ons you may have purchased in the past will continue to work
We expect the transition can be completed within 8-16 hours

The ISO 27001:2022 update package is sold as a one time (perpetual) license for one (1) instance (deployment), priced to match the size and structure of your organization:

Start with a clean slate instead?

If you wish, you can also opt to purchase a brand-new (empty) Instant 27001 package (based on ISO 27001:2022) for the same price. This can also be used to upgrade from Confluence to Microsoft 365 (ISOPlanner)!

Installing a clean slate does not retain or migrate any data from your existing ISMS.
